This Privacy Policy describes how Betzo collects, uses, stores and protects your personal data. We are committed to handling your information with transparency and care.
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") is issued by Betzo ("Betzo", "we", "us", "our") and governs the collection, use, storage, transfer and protection of personal data relating to users ("you", "your") of the website located at betzo.cam and all associated services, features and content (collectively, the "Platform").
Betzo is an English-language online betting information and gaming platform built for Pakistani users. We recognise that users across Pakistan — from Karachi and Lahore to Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan and Peshawar — place trust in us when they register, deposit and engage with the Platform. This Policy explains precisely how that trust is honoured in the handling of your personal data.
By accessing the Platform, completing registration or using any Service, you acknowledge that you have read this Policy and consent to the data practices described herein. This Policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms & Conditions.
Pakistan-Specific Notice: Pakistan does not currently have a comprehensive personal data protection law that is fully in force across all sectors as of the date of this Policy, though relevant legislation is under development. Betzo nonetheless applies internationally recognised data protection principles — including data minimisation, purpose limitation and storage limitation — as a baseline standard for all users, regardless of jurisdiction.
The following definitions apply throughout this Policy:

| "Cookies" | Small text files placed on your device by the Platform to store session information, preferences and analytics data. |
| "Third Party" | Any natural or legal person other than you, Betzo, the Operator or an authorised Processor acting on Betzo's behalf. |
Betzo collects only the Personal Data that is necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. The categories of data we collect include:

Where internationally recognised data protection frameworks apply, Betzo relies on the following legal bases for Processing your Personal Data:
Betzo does not sell, rent or trade your Personal Data to any third party for their own marketing purposes. We may share Personal Data only in the following limited circumstances:
We engage trusted third-party service providers to support Platform operations, including KYC verification agencies, payment processors, cloud hosting providers, fraud-screening tools and customer support platforms. These providers access Personal Data only as necessary to deliver their services and are bound by data processing agreements that prohibit use of your data for any other purpose.
Betzo may disclose Personal Data to regulators, law enforcement agencies, tax authorities or courts where required by applicable law, a valid legal process or a binding regulatory instruction. Where legally permissible, we will notify you of such disclosure.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, asset sale or corporate restructuring, Personal Data held by Betzo may be transferred to the successor entity. We will provide reasonable prior notice of any such transfer that materially affects the handling of your data.
Where you voluntarily request self-exclusion and Betzo participates in a multi-operator exclusion scheme, limited identifying data (such as name, date of birth and email) may be shared with the scheme administrator solely for the purpose of enforcing your exclusion across participating operators.
No Unauthorised Sharing: Betzo will never share your Personal Data with advertisers, data brokers or unaffiliated third parties for their own commercial purposes. Any sharing not described in this Policy requires your explicit prior consent.
Betzo uses Cookies and similar tracking technologies (including local storage and session storage) to operate the Platform, remember your preferences, maintain session security and gather analytics data. The categories of Cookies we use are:
| Cookie Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly Necessary | Essential for the Platform to function — login sessions, security tokens, load balancing. Cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality. | Session / up to 24 hrs |
| Functional | Remember your language preference, display settings and responsible gambling limit configurations. | Up to 12 months |
| Analytics | Collect aggregate, anonymised usage statistics to help us understand how users navigate the Platform and where improvements are needed. | Up to 24 months |
| Marketing | Track whether you arrived via a marketing campaign so we can measure effectiveness and avoid showing irrelevant offers. Only set with your consent. | Up to 30 days |
You may manage Cookie preferences through your browser settings. Note that disabling Strictly Necessary Cookies will impair Platform functionality. Analytics and Marketing Cookies may be declined without affecting core services.
Betzo retains Personal Data only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable legal and regulatory obligations. The following retention periods apply as a general guide:
Upon expiry of the applicable retention period, Personal Data is securely deleted or anonymised in a manner that prevents re-identification.
Betzo implements a range of technical and organisational measures designed to protect your Personal Data against unauthorised access, accidental loss, alteration or destruction. These measures include:
No data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure. While Betzo takes all reasonable steps to protect your data, you acknowledge that you transmit information to the Platform at your own risk. You are responsible for keeping your Account credentials confidential.
Security Incident Reporting: If you suspect that your Account has been compromised or that your Personal Data has been subjected to unauthorised access, please contact us immediately at [email protected]. We will investigate all credible security reports promptly.
Subject to applicable law and any overriding legal obligations (such as AML record-keeping requirements), you have the following rights with respect to your Personal Data held by Betzo:
You may request a copy of the Personal Data Betzo holds about you, along with information about how it is being processed and the legal basis for that processing.
If any Personal Data we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to request that we correct or update it without undue delay.
You may request deletion of your Personal Data where it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, subject to our legal retention obligations.
You may request that we restrict the Processing of your Personal Data in certain circumstances — for example, while the accuracy of data is being contested.
Where Processing is based on consent or contractual necessity and carried out by automated means, you may request that we provide your Personal Data in a structured, machine-readable format.
You may object to Processing based on our legitimate interests, including direct marketing. We will honour all valid marketing opt-out requests promptly and without question.
Where Processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of Processing carried out prior to withdrawal.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact our support team at [email protected], clearly stating the right you wish to exercise and providing sufficient detail for us to identify your Account. We aim to respond to all rights requests within thirty (30) calendar days.
Betzo operates globally and your Personal Data may be transferred to, stored in or processed in countries outside Pakistan. Where such transfers occur, Betzo takes steps to ensure that your data receives an equivalent level of protection to that described in this Policy — including by entering into appropriate data transfer agreements with recipient entities.
By using the Platform, you acknowledge and consent to the transfer of your Personal Data to jurisdictions that may have different data protection standards than those in Pakistan. Betzo will not transfer your data to jurisdictions that do not offer adequate protections without your explicit consent or without the appropriate contractual safeguards in place.
The Betzo Platform is strictly limited to users aged 18 or older — or the higher minimum age required by the applicable operator licence jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from any person under the minimum eligible age.
If we become aware that Personal Data has been collected from an underage individual, we will immediately suspend the associated Account, delete all related Personal Data without delay and, where appropriate, report the matter to relevant authorities. If you believe a minor has registered on the Platform, please notify us immediately at [email protected].
Betzo reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Where changes are material — such as introducing a new category of data collection or a new sharing arrangement — we will notify you by email to your registered address or via an in-Platform notification at least fourteen (14) days before the change takes effect.
The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the date of the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any amendment constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy. If you do not accept the amended Policy, you must cease using the Platform and request Account closure before the amendment takes effect.
If you have any questions, concerns or complaints regarding this Privacy Policy or the handling of your Personal Data, please contact the Betzo Data Support team. All privacy-related requests must be submitted in English and include sufficient account information to allow us to identify and respond to your query accurately.
Data Support Email: [email protected]
Live Chat: Available 24/7 via the Platform (operator-stated availability)
Response Time: We aim to acknowledge all privacy queries within two (2) business days and to resolve substantive rights requests within thirty (30) calendar days.
Please do not send sensitive documents (passport scans, CNIC copies) via email unless specifically requested and over an encrypted channel.
Six core principles guide every data decision we make — from the moment you register to long after you log out.
All data in transit is protected with TLS. Sensitive fields — including KYC documents — are encrypted at rest. Your personal records are never stored in plain text on any Betzo server.
Your rights to access, correct, delete and port your data are built into our processes — not just written in fine print. Submit a request to support and we respond within 30 days, no questions asked.
We collect only what is necessary for account operations, compliance and responsible gambling. We never ask for full card numbers or PIN codes — payment processing is handled entirely by regulated third-party processors.
Betzo does not sell, rent or broker your Personal Data to advertisers, data aggregators or any unaffiliated third party. Sharing is limited strictly to service providers and legal obligations.
Data is kept only as long as needed. Transaction records are retained for five years as required by AML obligations, then securely deleted or anonymised — not stored indefinitely on the assumption it might be useful someday.
When this Policy changes materially, we notify you at least 14 days before the change takes effect — by email or in-platform notice. You always have the option to close your account if you disagree with a revision.
Our support team is available around the clock to help with data requests, cookie settings or any concern about how your information is handled. You can also review our Terms & Conditions or head back to the homepage.
